Safe and Sound Latest Update: April 28, 2022

Effective April 1, 2022 the California Department of Public Health will no longer require COVID vaccine verification or proof of negative test to attend an Indoor Mega Event (defined as gatherings of more than 1,000 people), including The 2022 NAMM Show.

The Anaheim Convention Center will ensure unparalleled service and a world-class experience while taking steps to safeguard public health for event organizers, attendees, partners, and employees.

Steps include:

  • GBAC Star Accreditation – providing assurance that proper cleaning, disinfection, and disease prevention practices are in place at the Convention Center
  • Air quality and ventilation - the facility utilizes one hundred percent (100%) outside air in accordance with ASHRAE and CDC recommendations for publicly occupied spaces
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting techniques - complying to the latest EPA standards
  • Sanitizing stations – the facility will utilize more than 200 wall-mounted and touchless sanitizing stations
